Camas Washougal Aviation Association

C.W.A.A. is a non-profit organization comprised of dedicated members who mentor future pilots, works closely with the community promoting aviation, and fundraises for the C.W.A.A. Scholarship Program.

Monthly meetings are held every third Thursday of each month at the East County Fire Station located next to the Grove Field Airport. ''Pot Luck'' dinner is served before the meeting. Anyone interested in Aviation is welcomed.

C.W.A.A.'s major fundraiser is the ''Appreciation Days'' held in July every year. The public is invited to Grove Field airport for a day of airplane displays, fun, food, and airplane rides. The money raised at this event is used for the Scholarship Program.

Each summer, C.W.A.A. offers two Scholarship ''Aviation Camps''. One camp for middle school students and one camp for high school students, that have an interest in Aviation. Space for these two camps are limited.

College bound students interested in pursuing a career in the Aviation field are also awarded Scholarship money to help them further their interests. College bond students can apply for a Scholarship from C.W.A.A., distributed once a year. There are a limited amount of Scholarships awarded.

Grove Field Airport is located at 632 NE 267th Ave. in Camas, WA - next to the East County Fire and Rescue Station.
