Enjoy sponsored holes with games, hosted by various CHS athletic teams and community partners, plus longest and straightest drive competitions, a hole in one contest with the chance to win a car donated by Westlie Ford, and a make it or break it putting contest with terrific prizes. Enjoy a BBQ Lunch, silent and live auction, plus awards ceremonies to round out the afternoon. This year’s winning team will not only win bragging rights and receive cool prizes; they will also have their names inscribed on the Tom Wallenborn commemorative trophy that will be displayed at Camas High School and will be updated annually with tournament winners! Your name could be forever etched into golf history!

The Tom Wallenborn Classic began in 2007 with 22 teams and has grown to be a very successful annual fundraising event that proudly serves our athletes. As of press time, the tournament is well on its way to selling out this year. Tom Wallenborn graduated from CHS in 1956, he’s member of the Camas Athletic Hall of Fame, a former coach and past activities director in the district. Tom continues his passion for athletics and the success of Camas school district sports as the well loved and highly respected coach of the Papermakers girls’ varsity golf team.
