The 9th Annual Riverside Concert Series at the Port of Camas-Washougal - JULY 4th 2011
The first concert and celebration will be held on Independence Day, July 4, with the King Brothers Band performing classic hits from 6-10 p.m. The band will be followed by the traditional fireworks display. The July 4 fireworks tradition is sponsored by The City of Washougal, originating from a barge in the Columbia River. Additional event parking near the marina will be made available adjacent to the Westlie-Ford dealership and on vacant property of the former Hambleton lumber company. Parking assistance will be provided by Boy Scout Troop 324.
There will have a variety of musical entertainment and food vendors that makes this an ideal location to bring the entire family. Food vendors will be on location to sell hamburgers, hotdogs, root beer floats, pizza, kettle corn, waffle cones, baklava as well as soda and alcoholic beverages. Attendees are reminded to bring their blankets and low-back chairs. Seating is first come first-served.
Presenting sponsor, Lacamas Community Credit Union, is joined by other local businesses who support the concerts, including: the Camas Lions Rotary, Goodstein Law Group, Scripted Motion, Martha Martin, Ph.D., Northwest Financial and Tax Solutions, WHPacific, BergerAbam, Waste Connections, Les Schwab and MacKay & Sposito.
