Please join the Camas-Washougal Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, March 19th for the Luncheon event at Camas Meadows Golf Club. The doors will open at 11:30 for networking, with the program beginning at noon. A 24 hour RSVP is required to attend. The cost is $15 for members and $17 for non-members.
The keynote speakers will be the City of Camas Mayor Paul Dennis and the City of Washougal Mayor Stacee Sellers. They will each present a State of the City address regarding current and future projects and economic development.
Mayor Paul Dennis served on the Camas City Council for nearly seven years before being elected as mayor in 2003. He has successfully worked with the community on a number of significant topics, such as the North Dwyer Creek Industrial Master Plan, Citywide Comprehensive Plan Update, Design Review Guide Lines for Commercial/Mixed-Use/Multi-family Development, Downtown Vision, and Youth Council. Paul is a nationally certified planner and has been an economic development consultant for almost 14 years.
Mayor Stacee Sellers has been mayor of Washougal since January 2006, and was named one of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Clark County by The Columbian. In 2008, Sellers was part of the Southwest Washington Sustainability Speakers Series and is part of the WA State Columbia Basin Leadership Council. Sellers was also President of the Washougal Downtown Revitalization Committee and was a City of Washougal Councilperson.
