Great libraries help create healthy, thriving communities.
Fort Vancouver Regional Library District and the Friends
of Washougal Community Library are making
great strides in preparing the path toward a new,
larger library for Washougal. The Camas-Washougal Chamber
welcomes Washougal Community Library and the Library Foundation,
who will provide an update on progress toward this worthy goal.
Come hear about the community needs that are driving this
effort, what has been accomplished to-date, what the next steps may be, and opportunities to get involved to help turn the dream of a new library into a reality.
Did you know that the library is a great resource for small businesses?
You can sign up for a library card at the meeting -- it's easy, there's
no fee, and it will open up a world of information to you.
Doors open at Camas Meadows at 11:30 am for networking,
with the program beginning at noon. The cost is $20/member
or first time guest and $25 non-member.
