David Hanawalt, Director of Employers Overload Supported Employment will speak at the CW Chamber luncheon on Thursday, January 17th at Camas Meadows Golf Club. Hanawalt will speak on the expanding partnership and collaborative efforts of Camas and Washougal School Districts, the local business community and Employers Overload. As a result of this collaboration students with disabilities are graduating with marketable work skills and entering directly into the work force. Local businesses are utilizing employees with disabilities to fill important positions in their companies. Mr. Hanawalt will provide additional information on how this partnership and collaboration can continue to develop in the Camas-Washougal Community to further benefit individuals with disabilities and local businesses.
Employers Overload Supported Employment has been a Supported Employment Agency for 16 years operating in Clark County. Today we provided services to 85 individuals with disabilities and 30 businesses.
