March 18 at 2:00 p.m.The presentation will feature volunteers from SHIBA (Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors) and local Medicare Advantage plan specialist Jim Friberg. The current open enrollment period for switching Medicare plans ends on March 31.  The purpose of this presentation is to help seniors and their families understand the various options available and how to select the plan that best meets each person's individual needs.  Health and finance professionals who work with seniors may also find the presentation valuable.  No selling will take place during or after the program\, as it is purely an objective educational event.  Refreshments will be served and there is no cost to attend the event.The presentation is part of Columbia Ridge Senior Living's "Community Outreach" program\, designed to educate seniors and their families about important matters.  Columbia Ridge is a 65-unit retirement and assisted living community located between Camas and Washougal\, WA.  Built in 2001\, the community is located in the Lookout Ridge development.
