DESCRIPTION:Put May 8\, 2010 on your calendar and come join us for a day of fun! It's time for the 13th Annual Mother's Day Plant & Garden Fair. Held the day before Mother's Day in the historical center of downtown Camas\, each year the plant fair draws in thousands of people. The fair offers items from over 75 regional nurseries and local merchants. You can explore unique offerings of garden art\, wind chimes\, planters\, garden furniture\, iron works\, and a wealth of other products. It's a great opportunity to get something special for mom or to pick up something for your own garden. Not only will you be supporting local vendors\, but you'll also be supporting scholarships for local women. The funds generated by the vendor stall fees go to sponsor educational scholarships for local women who are continuing their educations or returning to school. Running concurrently will be the Camas Community Health and Safety Fair\, also on 4th Avenue between Everett and Garfield\, downtown Camas from 9am to 1pm.
